Galaxy A55 gets December 2024 security update in Europe
As reported, the Galaxy A55 in Europe is getting a December 2024 update with the firmware version number A556BXXU6AXL2 and a package size of 304.19 megabytes. However, there are no major changes mentioned in the official changelog.
This update is rolling out for the Galaxy A55 5G users living in Europe. However, Samsung will not take much time go get access to this update in the more countries.
According to the Samsung support page, the December 2024 update fixes over 40 vulnerabilities and issues that affect the users’ privacy and their phone’s security.
Similar to the other releases, this update also is out in batches and may take some time to expand among all Galaxy A55 users. Note that this security patch fixes several bugs and security issues in your Galaxy smartphone including system and data.
We suggest all of the Galay A55 users get this software update as soon as it appears in the notification panel. However, you can check it manually via Settings > Software update > then tap on Download and Install.
