Galaxy A54 March 2025 update

Last week, Samsung released its December 2024 security update to Galaxy A54 5G. However, the update was earlier available only in the US. Now, the update has started more countries to make the Galaxy A54 5G more secure. It will take some days to approach all the eligible smartphone users in more regions.

Galaxy A54 gets December 2024 security update in Europe

The December 2024 security update is rolling out to the Galaxy A54 5G in Europe. The phone maker is sending this firmware update with One UI version A546BXXSBCXL3 and an update package size of around 270.35MB. Similar to the other releases, the update is out in batches and may take some time to expand among different Galaxy A54 5G owners.

Galaxy A54 5G  users can download the December 2024 software via Settings, followed by System & updates > Download and install, and then follow the on-screen content.

The update mainly brings the December 2024 security patch that eliminates 34 major privacy exploits from Google and 8 Samsung SVEs vulnerabilities. Thus, installing the new security patch on your device will unlock an efficient and bug-free experience.

December 2024 update changelog doesn’t bring any major changes to the phone. Yet, it fixes the hidden bugs and issues of the device that might have been ruining the user experience. As a result, the Galaxy phone holders get a bug-free experience.

The patch also maintains the device’s ability to fight harmful privacy exploits that can cause data leaks and other problems. Therefore, your confidential information remains safe in all aspects.

As mentioned above, the update will take some time to reach all Galaxy A54 users, so try to check the upgrade manually, if an OTA notification doesn’t appear.

One UI 7 for Galaxy A54 5G

The Galaxy A54 is currently running on One UI 6.1 and will get the Android 15 and One UI 7 updates next year. This will be the second of four major OS upgrades that the phone is eligible for. One UI 7 will first be released for flagship devices like the Galaxy S24, followed by its official debut on the Galaxy S25 series early next year.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 Geekbench

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing that the company is carrying out pre-launch tests and preparations for its new device. The latest listing also solves the chipset mystery that has been in rumours for a long time.

According to the Geekbench 6.4 listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 US variant with model number SM-F966U achieved  3022 points on single-core and 9307 points on multi-core tests.

Being a flagship folding handset, all these things sound quite good. Nevertheless, the actual performance will only be known once the device is officially launched in the consumer market. Inputs reveal that the chipset is clocked at 3.53 GHz base frequency.

Apart from this, the Korean tech giant can launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 around July this year. Also, an affordable flip model can also be introduced along with both the devices.
