Samsung hasn’t officially launched the Galaxy S25 yet, but the price of the phones in the lineup has leaked. Meanwhile, Samsung has confirmed that you can get the Galaxy S25 at half the price with some terms and conditions!
On the other hand, a report claims that the Koran tech giant has reportedly decided to keep the price of the entry-level (256GB) storage variant of the phone the same, but the 512GB version could be priced slightly higher.
Coming back, Samsung has launched a new subscription plan called ‘New Galaxy AI Subscription Club’ for customers, which offers access to the new S25 series at almost 50% less price.
Moreover, the company will start the ‘New Galaxy AI Subscription Club ‘ service on January 24th for customers who purchase Samsung Galaxy smartphones mainly subscription target is the upcoming Galaxy S25 series.
The ‘New Galaxy AI Subscription Club ‘ offers two subscription periods of 12 or 24 months, with a monthly subscription fee is 5,900 KRW (~ $4.06). This will help customers buy the latest Galaxy smartphones including Galaxy S25 series at half the price.
The new Galaxy AI Subscription Club offers three potential benefits:
- Up to 50% residual value guarantee upon device return
- Samsung Care+ Smartphone Damage+ service
- Discounts on mobile accessories, etc.
The ‘Up to 50% Residual Value Guarantee’ offers benefits such as:
- If the customer returns the product after using it for 12 months, he/she is guaranteed 50% of the Samsung.com standard price.
- If the customer returns the product after using it for 24 months, he/she is guaranteed 40% of the standard price.
The program has significantly relaxed its product compensation standards:
All scratched devices are returnable, except those that are not working properly, have external damage or have not yet been removed from the account, and there is no need to re-purchase a new device after returning the device.
Samsung Care Plus Smartphone Damage +’ provides benefits such as
- Damage compensation during the subscription period
- Immediate discount on repair costs
- On-site repair service
- Battery replacement service.
After the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has today resumed the rollout of One UI 7 based on the Android 15 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. It is worth noting that the Korean tech giant had halted the rollout a few days ago due to a serious bug discovered in the initial update, so it is now rolling out a new firmware that will fix this issue.
Samsung has started rolling out the new One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and Fold 6 SE. Initially available in South Korea, the new One UI 7 build will go live in more markets soon. This build is a more refined build than the initial build and includes fixes for system improvements.

Your Galaxy foldable device might have also received the new build. But you can check for the update manually in Settings > Software update. Click on Download and install so that your phone can receive the new OTA.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing that the company is carrying out pre-launch tests and preparations for its new device. The latest listing also solves the chipset mystery that has been in rumours for a long time.
According to the Geekbench 6.4 listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 US variant with model number SM-F966U achieved 3022 points on single-core and 9307 points on multi-core tests.
The US variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has appeared on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Also, the phone is expected to run on Android 16-based One UI 8 operating system
Being a flagship folding handset, all these things sound quite good. Nevertheless, the actual performance will only be known once the device is officially launched in the consumer market. Inputs reveal that the chipset is clocked at 3.53 GHz base frequency.
Apart from this, the Korean tech giant can launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 around July this year. Also, an affordable flip model can also be introduced along with both the devices.
Samsung halted the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series a few days ago, as a serious bug was found in the initial firmware. Samsung has resumed the rollout of the One UI 7-based Android 15 update for the Galaxy S24 series today, which should fix the issue.
The new One UI 7 update for Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones can be verified through One UI build version with S921NKSU4BYD9, S926NKSU4BYD9, and S928NKSU4BYD9.
The latest beta update fixes issues that users encountered in the initial One UI 7 update to provide a better experience. According to the changelog, the update brings functional improvements or new functions.
