200MP periscope camera could potentially debut on Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Samsung is all set to bring innovation to the tech industry by launching an all-new smartphone series, the Galaxy S25. Meanwhile, leaks indicate Samsung has also started evaluating a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, which could potentially launch in the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Today, news comes from Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station that Samsung is considering a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.5″ sensor size, which may come with next year’s flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Additionally, he also said that it looks like this could be the next big trend in 2026, and three of the five ultra-flagship phones released this year have a 200-megapixel telephoto.
On the flip side, Samsung is all set to launch its latest Galaxy S25 Ultra with a 50 MP ultrawide using the Samsung ISOCELL JN3 sensor, with 0.7um pixel size. Other camera specs:
- 200MP – Primary camera
- 50MP – Ultrawide camera
- 50MP – Periscope telephoto (5x optical zoom)
- 10MP – Telephoto (3x optical zoom)
Earlier, a tipster had said that the camera of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra with better sensors. The tipster said that just like there has been no change in the camera of the iPhone 17 Pro series, there will be no change in the Galaxy S26 Ultra as well and the same lens will be used in it.
In addition to cameras, earlier leaks had revealed that the Galaxy S26 series could be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 processor, a larger battery with 50W fast charging, and more. Moreover, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may be equipped with Color Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) technology for the OLED screen of the Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G.

June 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 can be identified via One UI build version F731BXXS5EYF1 and F946BXXS5EYF1, respectively. It is an initial rollout, so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
It is worth noting that this update is based on Android 15 and One UI 7. Users of these devices will get the One UI 8 update in the coming months. Samsung has not confirmed these smartphones for beta, so it is possible that users may get the stable update directly.

Samsung June 2025 Security Patch Details
