Samsung has reportedly started developing One UI 8 for the Galaxy A56 smartphone. The company has already released an Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta for Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Just recently, a new build for the Galaxy A56 smartphone has surfaced, indicating that Samsung is internally working on One UI 8. The build, identified as A566BXXU4BYF7, has been spotted via a reliable tipster, @tarunvats33. Testing is underway for the European variant as PLS is Poland’s CSC code.

The Samsung Galaxy A56 smartphone is currently running on Android 15-based One UI 7. However, users are waiting for the next major update to try out new features. The special thing is that this device is eligible for the first major software update as One UI 8.

The Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy Z Fold 5 have achieved single-core scores of 1466 and 1995 and multi-core scores of 3000 and 5055, respectively. We can expect significant performance improvements with the next major update.
