Galaxy A35 picks February 2025 update as users’ eyes for next the major One UI 7 upgrade

Samsung Galaxy A35 users are receiving a new software update with the new security patch released in February 2025 for a better and safer user experience. Such updates are really important for Galaxy devices and we recommend all users to install it as soon as possible.
The changelog states that the February 2025 update for Samsung Galaxy A35 comes with One UI version A356BXXS4AYB1 and has a downloadable package size of 291.95 megabytes.
The update is currently rolling out in Europe and the company will expand it soon to more countries. As usual, the company is rolling out this update in batches and it may take some time to reach all models.
Apart from the device running on One UI 6.1, the company is also testing One UI 7 under the beta activity. The Galaxy S24 series is one of the first and only smartphones to receive the One UI 7 beta in Europe and other parts of the world.
Recently, Samsung has been rolling out the February 2025 update for the Galaxy S25 series smartphones in the European market. The latest software release comes amid the company preparing to release the stable One UI 7 for the phones.
To check the latest software update, you need to navigate to system settings. Then tap on the Software updates section and click on Download and Install. The phone will report back with a software build, if available, then hit the Download button.
Samsung February 2025 security update
According to SMR, the February 2025 security patch addresses 1 critical vulnerability and 34 high-risk CVEs within the Android OS and two of these vulnerabilities are irrelevant to Galaxy devices.
In addition to regular security fixes, Samsung has introduced 7 SVE items that aim to improve overall device functionality, including specific issues such as the Samsung Find app and Android application component settings.

Samsung June 2025 Security Patch Details
According to SMR, Samsung’s June 2025 security update addresses 36 high-level Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) provided by Google. In addition to the Android patch, Samsung has included 19 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items in the June 2025 patch. These fixes are aimed at boosting the overall security and stability of Galaxy devices.
On the other hand, Samsung confirmed to unveil the One UI 8 stable update along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones in July 2025. The company is currently testing the One UI 8 features on the Galaxy S25 series with the beta program.

In short, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely retain its price in Europe compared to the 2024 model, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 should be cheaper than the Flip 6 at launch.
The Galaxy Fold 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite globally, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature the Exynos 2500. Moreover, Android 16-based One UI 8 will come pre-installed on both foldable phones, with Samsung already teasing the exceptional Galaxy AI upgrade.

Samsung Galaxy A56 joins One UI 8 testing as beta release nears

Samsung has reportedly started developing One UI 8 for the Galaxy A56 smartphone. The company has already released an Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta for Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Just recently, a new build for the Galaxy A56 smartphone has surfaced, indicating that Samsung is internally working on One UI 8. The build, identified as A566BXXU4BYF7, has been spotted via a reliable tipster, @tarunvats33. Testing is underway for the European variant as PLS is Poland’s CSC code.
The Samsung Galaxy A56 smartphone is currently running on Android 15-based One UI 7. However, users are waiting for the next major update to try out new features. The special thing is that this device is eligible for the first major software update as One UI 8.
