Galaxy S24 with One UI 7 Beta 4 getting Satellite Messaging in the US
Last week, T-Mobile, in collaboration with SpaceX’s Starlink, made a big announcement, opening up satellite messaging to many Samsung devices in the US. However, this feature was not available on Galaxy S24 running the Beta program. Owners of Galaxy S24 phones have started receiving T-Mobile and Starlink-powered satellite messaging in the US with One UI 7 beta 4.
Recently, a Galaxy S24 owner shared a screenshot showing that the phone has received the satellite connectivity feature. Meanwhile, Samsung confirmed through beta moderators that the One UI 7 beta supports the long-awaited T-Mobile Satellite (Starlink) Satellite Messaging feature that is available on the Galaxy S24.

The T-Mobile Starlink beta allows Galaxy users to do text-only messaging through their phone’s native messaging app. This means you can send and receive standard text-based messages, including texts to 911. In short, this new feature allows Galaxy S24 users to send and receive messages directly through the satellite connection when there’s no cellular reception nearby.
Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users received the One UI 7 Beta 4 update in the country yesterday, bringing two exciting new camera features and several bug fixes.
One UI 7 beta 4 could be the last beta before Samsung releases the stable update. Recently, the company’s moderator revealed that the One UI 7 beta program is closing and the stable update will be released very soon.

Samsung has started expanding One UI 8 Beta to Galaxy S25 devices, allowing users to enjoy new features and enhancements ahead of an official release. Meanwhile, the company is also rolling out the June 2025 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones.
Samsung’s June 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 is currently available in Europe, and the company will expand it soon to more countries. The fresh update installs the latest Android security patch released in June 2025 to improve system security.
June 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 can be identified via One UI build version F731BXXS5EYF1 and F946BXXS5EYF1, respectively. It is an initial rollout, so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
It is worth noting that this update is based on Android 15 and One UI 7. Users of these devices will get the One UI 8 update in the coming months. Samsung has not confirmed these smartphones for beta, so it is possible that users may get the stable update directly.

Samsung June 2025 Security Patch Details
Samsung’s March 2025 security update brings critical fixes for more than 55 vulnerabilities found in older versions of the software. Google patched 36 high-level security issues. This month’s Android patch does not fix any critical or moderate labeled CVEs.
Samsung has also targeted 19 specific security vulnerabilities and exposures (SVEs), including issues related to the camera, AudioService, Samsung Cloud for Galaxy Watch, ThemeManager, ScreenCapture for Galaxy Watch, fingerprint trustlet, Bluetooth, and increasing the overall security of its devices.
Samsung has pushed the June 2025 security update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, Galaxy S21 Ultra, and Galaxy S21 FE smartphones. This update is currently rolling out for some carrier-locked devices in the US, and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

Samsung June 2025 Security Patch Details
According to SMR, Samsung’s June 2025 security update addresses 36 high-level Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) provided by Google. These fixes are aimed at boosting the overall security and stability of Galaxy devices.
On the other hand, Samsung confirmed to unveil the One UI 8 stable update along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones in July 2025. The company is currently testing the One UI 8 features on the Galaxy S25 series with the beta program.

According to the new inputs, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 should be priced the same as the Z Fold 6 at launch, i.e. €1,999 for 256GB, €2,119 for 512GB, and €2,359 for 1TB. Furthermore, in Europe, the 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be €100 cheaper than its predecessor and will be available for €1,099 instead of €1,199. The 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 variant should cost €1,219 instead of €1,319.
In short, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely retain its price in Europe compared to the 2024 model, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 should be cheaper than the Flip 6 at launch.
The Galaxy Fold 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite globally, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature the Exynos 2500. Moreover, Android 16-based One UI 8 will come pre-installed on both foldable phones, with Samsung already teasing the exceptional Galaxy AI upgrade.
