Galaxy Z Flip 7 Now Brief

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 details began surfacing on the internet. The smartphones are expected to debut in July this year. Meanwhile, leaks have started revealing the Best integration of One UI 7 Now Brief for the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

On X/Twitter, @PandaFlashPro claims that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have the best integration of the Galaxy AI Now Brief features, thanks to its Cover Display, that were launched with the Galaxy S25 series and One UI 7.

Samsung One UI 7 Now Brief

The “Now Brief” with a “Get today’s highlight” prompt allows you a personalized summary every day, including things like the weather forecast, your appointments, health info, and even suggestions for apps to use.

If this report turns out to be true, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be launched with an upgraded processor and hardware similar to the one found on the Galaxy S25 series with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 with One UI 7 instead of One UI 7.1. So, it is unclear whether the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will come with One UI 7.1 or One UI 7.1.1, but if history is any indication, it should be the latter.

But SamMobile cites its source as saying that the delay in the stable One UI 7 update release for the Galaxy S24 series has forced Samsung to consider skipping One UI 7.1. This means you may not see One UI 7.1.1, which usually comes with the Galaxy Z series.

So, the upcoming Galaxy Z Foldables including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will likely come with a new custom skin, One UI 7.0.1, instead of One UI 7.1.1.

Samsung may launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 with some minor but surprising upgrades. The company’s first affordable flip smartphone may also join the Fold 7 and Flip 7, which is likely to be introduced in the second half of this year.

Last week, Samsung said that AI features that use on-device processing, such as the Personal Data Engine, require advanced processors and hardware. Therefore, One UI 7 Now Brief works on the basics of the Samsung Personal Data Engine, which requires more powerful hardware, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite with an upgraded NPU.

So, this means that the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23 Galaxy S22, and other devices may miss out on the One UI 7 Now Brief feature.
