Galaxy A56 is rumored to get 45W fast charging. The latest iteration of the Galaxy A series is likely to be unveiled in March 2025. While not much information about the upcoming Galaxy A56 has been confirmed so far, we are hearing some good news about the phone’s charging capacity. Samsung might finally get rid of the charging and replace it with something better.

Galaxy A56 gets 3C certificate with 45W charging support

According to the information, the unreleased Galaxy A56 5G smartphone with model number SM-A5660 cleared the mandatory China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) 3C certification. The listing suggests the device will have 45W fast charging support and it can charge at a maximum of 10V and 4.5A.

In comparison, the base variant of the Galaxy S24 only features 25W fast charging, So, the upcoming Galaxy A series phone can charge faster than even the Galaxy S24.

If the listing is true! The Galaxy A56 might be the first Galaxy A series phone to support Galaxy S24 Ultra and Plus’s 45W fast charging, and it will likely come to more Galaxy A series phones. While some Galaxy F and M mid-range Samsung smartphones have 45W charging.

An early report predicted that Galaxy A56 equipped the Exynos 1580 processor that features an octa-core CPU with a Corex-A720 core clocked AT 2.9GHz, 3 Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, and 4 Cortex-A520 cores running at 1.95GHz.

For the camera, the smartphone houses a 50MP primary lens, 12MP ultrawide sense, and a 5MP macro camera at the rear side. These further have an upgraded 12MP selfie camera for clean and clear facial shots.

For now, there isn’t much information about the Galaxy A56 but we could assume that the device will have substantial upgrades over its predecessor.

Standard Galaxy S26 enters Geekbench with  Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip

After the Ultra variant, the Standard Galaxy S26 smartphone has appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. The flagship phone has made significant scores on the benchmarking platform and seems ready to enter the real world.

On the other hand, a report from a French publication claims that the Galaxy S26 series will be launched across Europe on March 11, 2026. However, the company has not yet officially confirmed either the date of the Unpacked event or the release date.

In the latest edition, the Standard Samsung Galaxy S26 has reached Geekbench and revealed some of its key specifications. It has seemingly performed well in the single-core and multi-core tests on version 6.5.0, as well as achieved good points.

As per the listing, the device with model number SM-S942U obtained 3,379 points on the single-core test and 11,097 points on the multi-core test. The details reveal that the Galaxy S26 smartphone will equip the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, an overclocked version of the chipset.

The chip includes 12-gigabyte RAM, 3.63 GHz base frequency, six high-performance CPU cores running at a clock speed of 3.63GHz, and two prime cores at 4.74 GHz.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series renders leaked via One UI 8.5

Samsung fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming flagship phone. As we get closer to the potential release date, the excitement continues to grow. Recently, a report revealed that Samsung’s own One UI 8.5 software includes renders of the upcoming Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Lately, Android Authority explored Samsung’s One UI 8.5 software and found some renders showcasing the Galaxy S26 series. According to the information, the One UI 8.5 build software shows three device codenames, M1, M2, and M3.

According to the report, M1, M2, and M3 respectively represent the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. You can see the images below.

According to the renders, the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus feature a triple-camera setup vertically arranged in a small camera island, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a larger camera island with three main cameras in a vertical line and two extra sensors next to them.

In addition to this, the One UI 8.5 software hints at faster charging features, which include Super Fast Wireless Charging and Super Fast Charging 3.0  for the upcoming phones.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S26 series early next year, and we have already seen leaked renders from reliable sources. This lineup will include three models: the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra. The non-Ultra models are not expected to have any major design differences compared to their predecessors.

Samsung confirms One UI 8 is launching with Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, expanding later

Earlier reports suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 would come with One UI 8 (Android 16). Now, just months ahead of its big Galaxy Unpacked launch event, Samsung is saying that One UI 8 will debut on Samsung’s newest foldable this summer.

According to the Samsung Newsroom, One UI 8 will debut on Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldables this summer and will gradually expand to more Galaxy devices so users can now enjoy a richer, more personalized mobile experience with the latest version of Android.

Samsung says: “Thanks to the mutual partnership between Samsung and Google, One UI 8 will debut on Samsung’s newest foldables this summer and will gradually expand to more Galaxy devices so users can now enjoy an enriched, more personalized mobile experience with the latest version of Android.”

Samsung officially released the beta version of One UI 8 on May 28, 2025 (today), marking the end of a rather long anticipatory period since Android 16’s official launch. This is when the One UI 8 beta program began for the Galaxy S25 series.

Samsung started the One UI 8 rollout for devices with a beta program. So yes, the One UI 8 beta has started with the Galaxy S25 series. All devices that are expected to get One UI 8 stable are also expected to get a beta program before that, which will help polish and finalize the update for that device. So keep an eye on the beta program for your device in anticipation of the stable update.
