Last week, Samsung released the first One UI 7 beta update to the Galaxy S24 series in select countries. Since the update is quite buggy, it is expected that the company will release the One UI 7 Beta 2 with critical bug fixes. However, there’s one specific question that some of the users have asked us on this matter “When to we expect One UI 7 Beta 2 release for Galaxy S24”.
Galaxy S24 One UI 7 Beta 2 release date: When to expect
Samsung One UI 7 Beta update comes with many new features but the inside of this software reveals the presence of Android 14, making it equivalent to the One UI 6.1. Therefore, there are some bugs in the first beta that should be fixed soon.
Samsung has also acknowledged some consumer complaints about the beta bugs, so we expect a much better experience with the second beta firmware.
One UI 7 beta rollout began on December 05 for the Galaxy S24 series in Germany, Korea, the UK, and the US, and India and Poland usees still waiting for it. Meanwhile, Samsung support confirmed that the One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24 series is extended to December 16 instant of December 12 in India.
This means the One UI 7 Beta 2 release for countries where the beta 1 went open to Galaxy S24 on December 05 has been delayed as well. Looking at past records, it is expected that Samsung might release a second beta for the early beta participants once the One UI 7 Beta expands to users in the remaining markets.
With the One UI 7 Beta 2, Samsung plans to improve animation and transition effects, enhance performance, app compatibility, bug fixes, and overall user experience improvements. However, the overall enhancements and app compatibility will be included in the stable version next year.
Samsung may release at least four more beta updates before releasing the Stable One UI 7 update in Q1 of 2025.
