Galaxy S25 Edge renders

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to have some great hardware capabilities. But the phone is currently in the news for its interesting camera parameters and related features. Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is the first ultra-slim flagship and an X user today shares the camera specifications for this smartphone lineup including Galaxy S25 Plus’s 12MP ultrawide camera.

Now a new leak says that the Galaxy S25 Edge has a 200MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. This means that Samsung could adopt the primary camera of Galaxy S25 Ultra and ultrawide camera of the Galaxy S25+.

In addition to this, the leaker also claims that the phone uses Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for its display. It will deliver improved drop performance on rough surfaces like concrete.

Before the Galaxy Unpacked event, the Galaxy S25 Edge was rumored to feature a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera. But this proved false.

Early leaks revealed that it will be even thinner at 6.4mm. It features a titanium frame, a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen, a 4,000mAh battery, and 25W fast charging.

In addition, the S25 Edge model may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip just like the Galaxy S25 series devices. Meanwhile, the tech giant is likely to enhance its AI capabilities with the next phone. We may see more changes in this regard in the coming days.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2025. The exact launch time could be in April this year. However, Samsung is yet to confirm these details. Android 17 Universal Clipboard

Google and Samsung are yet to release Android 17 and One UI 9 Beta for Pixel and Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, Google is working on a Universal Clipboard for Android phones and PCs, with Android 17. This means Samsung’s One UI 9 could bring universal clipboard to Galaxy devices.

According to Android Authority, Android 17 includes a feature called UniversalClipboardManager. This tool appears inside Google’s continuity framework, which transfers copied content between Android devices without a third-party tool

Samsung’s current cross-device features, like Quick Share, Samsung Flow, and Phone Link, do not offer built-in clipboard syncing. Fortunately, that could change in next year’s One UI 9 update, as Google is working on a Universal Clipboard for Android phones and PCs.

If Samsung follows the One UI 8 schedule, One UI 9 is expected to arrive alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 in mid-2026. If Google implements Universal Clipboard in Android 17, Samsung will likely add it in One UI 9.
