Galaxy S25 Edge is in the making and a new leak suggests that the smartphone could launch in Q2 2025. The company is preparing the new device with powerful upgrades. It will probably deliver significant performance over the standard sibling.

X tipster Max Jambor says that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone will launch in Q2 2025. The new device won’t bring major upgrades in terms of appearance. This is in line with previous reports, which suggested a launch in around April 2025. It may look somewhat similar to the Galaxy S25+ handset.

Although one can expect dynamic performance with the Galaxy S25 Edge. Some leak suggests that the new phone may be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The recently launched Galaxy S25 series model runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. It delivers great performance.

Samsung is now fulfilling this wish with the S25 Edge handset. The device may also adopt a 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is rumored to have a slim design and measures 158.2 x 75.5 x 5.84mm, making it just 5.84mm thick. Also, it could weigh less than 162 grams.

Galaxy S25 Edge is a cost-effective smartphone with high-end specifications. The device further adopts a dual-camera setup on its back including a 200MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide-angle macro sensor. You can click some impressive portraits with a 12MP selfie sensor on the front side.

The Galaxy S25 series models come preinstalled with One UI 7.0 (Android 15), so we can expect the Galaxy S25 Edge to feature Android 15 as well.

According to the leaker, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 24MP default and portrait mode. It may also feature Adaptive Pixel, which reduces noise by combining multiple low-resolution photos into one high-resolution image.

Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra Optical has a focus speed slider for portrait and video modes. Camera assistance mode – allows turning off HDR10+ and using regular HDR.
