Galaxy S25 promo video shows off improved Nightography, Audio Eraser, and more
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will launch on January 22 and ahead of that, a promo video has surfaced online showing off improved Nightography, Audio Eraser, and more about the new flagship. These shots of the phone focus on the One UI 7 features and capabilities.
A publisher named “AndroidHeadlines” has shared a Samsung Galaxy S25 series promo video on the social media platform, the X. Even though the official look of the handset is already out, a new video reveals the device’s features based on the One UI 7 software.
According to the Galaxy S25 promo video, the phone comes with improved Nightography, an Audio eraser, Now Brief, Google’s Gemini assistant, and much more.
Galaxy S25 improved Nightography
Starting from the improved Nightography, the leaked promo video shows improved nighttime videography with Night Mode on the S25 smartphone. You can check out the picture below, it shows a direct comparison between turning Nightography Mode on and off, and the difference is quite evident.
Galaxy S25 Audio Eraser
Now talk about the Audio Eraser, this video reveals that Samsung will launch the Audio Eraser feature with the Galaxy S25 series. It will be equipped with generative AI capabilities to remove unwanted sounds in video clips and can be accessed through the Gallery app.
Furthermore, the feature will be compatible with common video formats. It can reduce six types of sounds including voice/speech, music, noise, crowd, nature, and wind.
Next-gen Google Gemini integration
In addition, the video shows that Samsung will add credibility to Google’s Gemini with advanced integration into its apps and services, so you can connect to your favorite features faster. This Google Assistant will be able to assist you with voice input and send instructions to apps, such as sending messages, creating events, sharing events, creating notes, creating notes, and more.
Now Brief:
With One UI 7, the company is aiming a lot for in-device AI integration, letting you see important information at a glance on the lock screen thanks to the Now Bar.
Starting with the Galaxy S25 series, the company will add one more feature called Now Brief, which will give you a personalized summary every day, including things like the weather forecast, your appointments, health information, and even suggestions for apps to use.

More details will be unveiled on January 22 at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. GMT, and 7 p.m. CET, during the Galaxy Unpacked official launch event. After the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has today resumed the rollout of One UI 7 based on the Android 15 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. It is worth noting that the Korean tech giant had halted the rollout a few days ago due to a serious bug discovered in the initial update, so it is now rolling out a new firmware that will fix this issue.
Samsung has started rolling out the new One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and Fold 6 SE. Initially available in South Korea, the new One UI 7 build will go live in more markets soon. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing that the company is carrying out pre-launch tests and preparations for its new device. The latest listing also solves the chipset mystery that has been in rumours for a long time.
According to the Geekbench 6.4 listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 US variant with model number SM-F966U achieved 3022 points on single-core and 9307 points on multi-core tests.
The US variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has appeared on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Also, the phone is expected to run on Android 16-based One UI 8 operating system
Being a flagship folding handset, all these things sound quite good. Nevertheless, the actual performance will only be known once the device is officially launched in the consumer market. Inputs reveal that the chipset is clocked at 3.53 GHz base frequency.
Apart from this, the Korean tech giant can launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 around July this year. Also, an affordable flip model can also be introduced along with both the devices.
Samsung halted the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series a few days ago, as a serious bug was found in the initial firmware. Samsung has resumed the rollout of the One UI 7-based Android 15 update for the Galaxy S24 series today, which should fix the issue.
The new One UI 7 update for Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones can be verified through One UI build version with S921NKSU4BYD9, S926NKSU4BYD9, and S928NKSU4BYD9.
The latest beta update fixes issues that users encountered in the initial One UI 7 update to provide a better experience. According to the changelog, the update brings functional improvements or new functions.
