After Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series made headlines worldwide, talks have started about the upcoming Fan Edition variants of the company’s Galaxy S and Z lineup, the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy Z Flip FE. Meanwhile, a report suggests that Samsung has started mass production of the 3nm Exynos 2500 for the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE and S25 FE.

In addition, the report also states that the company is advancing its work on SF2 (2nm) for the Exynos 2600 of the Galaxy S26.

A recent report suggests that Samsung has begun mass production of the 3nm Exynos 2500. Furthermore, the report also claims that wafer testing is expected to begin in early March, with Naps Arc and Doosan Tesna handling the process.

The report claims that Samsung may power the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE with a 3nm Exynos 2500 chip. The company originally planned to mass-produce the Exynos 2500 in the second half of 2024 and include it in the Galaxy S25.

However, due to difficulties in stabilizing the process, mass production of the Exynos 2500 was delayed, and the Galaxy S25 product line was equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to use the Exynos 2500, as the Galaxy S25 was launched without Exynos.

The idea behind launching the budget Galaxy Z Flip FE phone is to make foldable technology accessible to more people at a lower price point. As of now, there is no detailed information about the upcoming device, but more information is expected to emerge as we get closer to the second half of this year.

On the other hand, the Korean tech giant is already working on the 2nm Exynos 2600. This Exynos processor could help Samsung make a comeback in the smartphone processor market with the Galaxy S26 series next year.

Also, Samsung plans to mass produce it in the second half of this year, and the third-generation Gate All-Around (GAA) technology will be implemented.
