Galaxy M16, F16 5G listed on support page, launch on horizon
The appearance of the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G support page on the Samsung India website indicates that this smartphone is getting closer to its official release. It also reveals the model number of Samsung Galaxy M16 5G is SM-M166P/DS and Galaxy F16 5G is SM-E166P/DS. The “DS” at the end likely means both phones will support dual SIM cards.
Additionally, both phones are expected to feature 4GB of RAM, which is likely to be the base memory option. The support page doesn’t reveal much about the features of the phones, just hinting that the launch is just around the corner. The Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G will be a new addition to Samsung’s upcoming low-mid range phones, which are known to offer good performance at affordable prices.
Samsung Galaxy M16 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 1080 x 2408 pixels 120Hz LDD display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC (with ARM Mali G57 MC2 GPU), 50MP triple rear camera module, 13MP front camera, and a 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
Since their previous phones were priced under Rs 15,000, the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G could also come under Rs 15,000 in the country. Marketing-wise, the F-series is for Flipkart and the M-series is for Amazon.
As the official page appeared, we can expect that the company will release more details about the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G smartphones in the coming days. Stay tuned.
