One UI 7.0 beta slot may reopen on Monday
Galaxy S24 lineup smartphone users in four out of six markets have had access to the One UI 7 Beta 1 update for the past few days. However, Samsung closed the new enrollment in some markets including the US. Now good news for those users who want to join One UI 7 beta on their Galaxy S24 phones, as Samsung is expected to reopen the beta program on Monday, December 16 alongside the potential Beta 2, so stay tuned.
As of now, the One UI 7 Beta update is available in the US, the UK, Germany, and Korea for Galaxy S24 users. And, it won’t be much time before the beta program expands to more countries.
Samsung will likely reopen the One UI 7 Beta program on December 16
According to Max Jambor, Samsung will likely reopen the One UI 7 Beta program with the second phase of registration on December 16, Monday, and the date is in line with the previous rumors of a Beta program in India.
On December 06, just hours after the One UI 7 beta rolled out, Samsung closed new enrollments. This is not surprising news, as Galaxy S24 users have been eagerly waiting for the Android 15 beta software since July this year.
Monday could be an exciting day for Samsung fans, as the company could also release One UI 7 beta 2 in markets where the beta program went live on December 5. Furthermore, Samsung Support has confirmed that the One UI 7 beta program will begin in India on December 16, and the same date is rumored for Poland as well.
One UI 7 Beta program eligible countries including the US, the UK, Germany, Korea, India, Poland, and China, and as of writing the beta update is available in only four markets out of seven.
With One UI 7 Beta 2, the company plans to improve animation and transition effects, enhance performance, app compatibility, bug fixes, and improve overall user experience.
Samsung has released the Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 2 for Galaxy A35 5G, and it’s time to dive into the list of features included in this new update. While the version brings many good changes for Galaxy A35 devices, it mainly focuses on camera enhancements for better photography.
The One UI 8 beta 2 is rolling out for Galaxy A35 5G with the PDA build version ending ZYI6 and brings a September 2025 security patch. It also fixes issues found in the first beta firmware.
The Korean tech giant has raised the camera segment to a whole new level with Android 16 One UI 8 Beta 2. It has fixed an issue where the VDIS function is not working on ‘Camera Front Photo under Quick Take.
Additionally, the update fixes an ANR issue when selecting sticker settings in the photo editor.

Bugs that have been fixed
- Fixed an issue that VDIS function is not working on ‘Camera Front Photo > Quick take’
- Fixed ANR when Selecting Sticker settings in Photo Editor
- Fixed an issue that Notes added from the Call Ending screen are not displayed in the Recent Log
- Fixed the issue that Predictive text is working in Password fields
- Fixed CP crashes
Recently, Samsung announced the roadmap of One UI 8 software for Galaxy smartphones and shared a roadmap for the upgrade procedure.
Stable One UI 8 to launch in September
Samsung fans are eagerly anticipating a new experience with One UI 8. But seems like the consumers have to wait till September. It gets clear on the official page of Samsung that reads the release notes and details of the upcoming version of One UI.
According to the press release, One UI 8 will also reach the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy S24 FE, starting with the Galaxy S25 series this week, and other eligible models later this year.
The entire list of eligible Samsung Galaxy devices that will adopt the One UI 8 software in 2025 is given below:

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 beta 2 update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 phones in the US and Korea. One UI 8 Beta 2 comes in ZYI5 and ZYI6 builds for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5, respectively.
