One UI 7 brings two new Good Lock tools for Galaxy S23 series

The One UI 7 beta program is finally available for the Galaxy S23 series. The new update has an all-new design, tons of new features, and practical enhancements. Among these, Samsung also unlocked two new Good Lock tools, the Display Assistant and Game Booster+ plugins on the Galaxy S23 series with One UI 7.

Now, Galaxy S23 series phones running One UI 7 can use Display Assistant and Game Booster+ plugins to tune the phone’s display and gaming performance to your liking. The Display Assistant plugin was launched in December last year, while Game Booster+ was released in March 2025.

Good Lock Game Booster+ delivers a more enjoyable gaming experience on Galaxy devices. It has a variety of features to improve gameplay and core functional modifications. In addition, the tool lets you remap gamepad keys, reduce GPU load used for screen rotation in Vulkan games for better performance, and change the category of apps not classified as games by traditional plugins.

The Good Lock Display Assistant plugin provides more control over your phone’s display behavior on a per-app basis. Also, it offers granular control over display brightness, refresh rate, and screen timeout.

The One UI 7 beta is currently available for the Galaxy S23 series in India, South Korea, the UK, and the US. Plus, the Korean tech giant will begin the stable rollout of One UI 7 on April 7

Samsung is preparing to introduce exciting new One UI 8.5 features with its new flagship phones. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, in particular, will be the most powerful Optical phone which is setting the stage to debut massive camera upgrades.

Leaker @chunvn8888 has come up with a new array of Galaxy S26 Ultra camera upgrades. The newly leaked information sheds light on camera assistance key enhancements:

According to the leaker, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 24MP default and portrait mode. It may also feature Adaptive Pixel, which reduces noise by combining multiple low-resolution photos into one high-resolution image.

Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra Optical has a focus speed slider for portrait and video modes. Camera assistance mode – allows turning off HDR10+ and using regular HDR.
