Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is receiving a January 2025 update
Samsung is enhancing the Galaxy S24 FE security segments with the January 2025 update. The Korean company is rolling out the latest firmware in batches. It will take some days to approach all the eligible smartphone users in the market.
The company is improving the recently launched Fan Edition with the latest security optimizations. The software also includes some bug fixes for the device’s system.
The tech giant has listed the Galaxy S24 FE device in the monthly updates list. Simply put, the device will receive a patch every month. Although these rollouts are quite significant for the handset. Hence, prioritize and install them directly.
Looking into the information, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is receiving the January 2025 update with the firmware build S721USQS3AXL1 and S721BXXS3AXL1 versions in the US and Europe. Notably, the size of the latest update is around 500 MB.
The package size hints that the new firmware may contain performance improvements and other internal changes for the Galaxy device. This update may optimize the stability aspects for seamless functioning of the phone.
The update mainly brings the January 2025 security patch that eliminates 29 major privacy exploits from Google and 22 Samsung-specific library vulnerabilities. Thus, installing the new patch on your Galaxy device will unlock an efficient and bug-free experience.

According to the Geekbench 6.4 listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 US variant with model number SM-F966U achieved 3022 points on single-core and 9307 points on multi-core tests.
The US variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has appeared on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Also, the phone is expected to run on Android 16-based One UI 8 operating system
