Samsung February 2025 update

Samsung February 2025 security update details are live for Galaxy devices. Users are eager to know if their phones or tablets are eligible for monthly as well as quarterly updates. Meanwhile, the excitement of seeing new gadgets on the list is also on the rise.

Samsung introduced great smartphones for its consumers in January 2025. These are Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. These phones come with Android 15-based One UI 7.0, which has many new features and improvements pre-installed.

However, last month, Samsung released the February 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S25 series to target any unknown issue or privacy threat in the device.

February 2025 security rollout plan reveals that Samsung will offer monthly patch updates to 39 devices. These iterations shield your Galaxy device from bugs, issues, and other harmful exploits. It also increases the lifespan of your Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

In addition, the quarterly side includes 79 smartphones. Finally, Samsung will support 25 phones with biannual security updates. Although these updates only happen twice a year, they still help keep older devices secure.  If you are using a Samsung device, you can check their eligibility for the February 2025 security update below.

On the other hand, Samsung has officially announced the discontinuation of updates for the Galaxy A02s, Galaxy A12, and W21 5G smartphones.
