Samsung has been working on launching a new One UI 7 beta update along with the Galaxy S25 series. Ahead of the launch, leaked versions of the Samsung on-device Resource Français app, may designed for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. These leaks suggest that the upcoming Galaxy S series could be available soon.

Rumors suggest that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra on January 22 at the Galaxy Unpacked event 2025 in the US. A fresh leak now gives us an updated version of the Samsung on-device Resource Francais app for the Galaxy S25 lineup.

Recently, a new version of the Samsung on-device Resource Francais app with 2.3.00.5 has been spotted on the popular third-party app hosting platform APKMirror. The release notes for this update are designed for the Galaxy S25 series, along with bug fixes. 

Currently, The Koran tech giant has started the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series. However, the firm may not expand the beta program to other Galaxy S series and other devices. 

The Galaxy S25 series will likely come with the Android 15-based One UI 7.x out of the box. This update brings a major UI design revamp, some new AI features, improved stock apps, and smoother animations and transitions, as well as accessibility, privacy, and security improvements.

The upcoming Galaxy S series will bring significant camera, design, and performance improvements compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the Galaxy S series can get even more powerful Galaxy AI features and an enhanced version of Bixby, which is powered by large language models (LLM) to understand complex commands.

Recently, Samsung has started testing the Android 15-based One UI 7.1 firmware on the Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone ahead of its expected launch. The update is said to be a software loaded with AI features that may first launch on the Galaxy S25 series.

After the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has today resumed the rollout of One UI 7 based on the Android 15 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. It is worth noting that the Korean tech giant had halted the rollout a few days ago due to a serious bug discovered in the initial update, so it is now rolling out a new firmware that will fix this issue.

Samsung has started rolling out the new One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and Fold 6 SE. Initially available in South Korea, the new One UI 7 build will go live in more markets soon. This build is a more refined build than the initial build and includes fixes for system improvements.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and Fold 6 SE users can recognize it by the build number ending with BYD9.

Your Galaxy foldable device might have also received the new build. But you can check for the update manually in Settings > Software update. Click on Download and install so that your phone can receive the new OTA.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 goes on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite, One UI 8 ahead of launch

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing that the company is carrying out pre-launch tests and preparations for its new device. The latest listing also solves the chipset mystery that has been in rumours for a long time.

According to the Geekbench 6.4 listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 US variant with model number SM-F966U achieved  3022 points on single-core and 9307 points on multi-core tests.

The US variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has appeared on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Also, the phone is expected to run on Android 16-based One UI 8 operating system

Being a flagship folding handset, all these things sound quite good. Nevertheless, the actual performance will only be known once the device is officially launched in the consumer market. Inputs reveal that the chipset is clocked at 3.53 GHz base frequency. 

Apart from this, the Korean tech giant can launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 around July this year. Also, an affordable flip model can also be introduced along with both the devices.

Samsung halted the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series a few days ago, as a serious bug was found in the initial firmware. Samsung has resumed the rollout of the One UI 7-based Android 15 update for the Galaxy S24 series today, which should fix the issue.

The new One UI 7 update for Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones can be verified through One UI build version with S921NKSU4BYD9, S926NKSU4BYD9, and S928NKSU4BYD9.

The latest beta update fixes issues that users encountered in the initial One UI 7 update to provide a better experience. According to the changelog, the update brings functional improvements or new functions.
