Samsung users await One UI 7 stable update announcement

Samsung Galaxy phone users are waiting for the latest major software upgrade and have locked their eyes on the One UI 7 stable update announcement. The latest version is already here, but the company has yet to kickstart an official version for it.

One UI 7 made its way into the real world with the Galaxy S25 series release. Although the devices hit the market before December last year, the company has not provided any information on the One UI 7 release or stable activity.

Bringing the One UI 7 update to the Galaxy S24 series phones is Samsung’s top priority right now. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra have been part of the One UI 7 beta program since December 2024, giving users a chance to test the early version in select countries.

So far, Samsung has released 4 beta updates. With One UI 7 Beta 4, Samsung brings new camera tricks like AI filters and log video (for S24 Ultra) along with bug fixes.

It is unclear when the tech giant will share details on the matter. However, we have some clues that hint about the Samsung One UI 7 stable update announcement timeline.

Next One UI 7 Stable announcement

It has been almost half a year since Android 15 arrived for Pixel or other smartphone phones. So far, Google has pushed out two Android 16 DP and two beta updates, with the latest, Beta 2, bringing new camera tricks along with bug fixes.

So, we can expect the One UI 7 stable to be announced at the end of February or maybe early March. This would be the perfect time for the stable rollout as the waiting time for users is already at its peak.

Speaking of the devices, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will likely be the first to grab the newest version. If you have any of these devices, then we suggest you stay active on the Samsung Members app, as they will get a notification when the update is ready to download.

According to the leaker, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 24MP default and portrait mode. It may also feature Adaptive Pixel, which reduces noise by combining multiple low-resolution photos into one high-resolution image.

Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra Optical has a focus speed slider for portrait and video modes. Camera assistance mode – allows turning off HDR10+ and using regular HDR.
