Breaking: Samsung Galaxy S25 series specifications leaked
Samsung has started Galaxy S25 series reservations. The Korean tech maker will unveil four new models including Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, as well as probably Galaxy S25 Slim on January 22. Currently, the reservations are open for three models but the company has not revealed any information about the Galaxy S25 series specifications or prices. A well-known tipster Max Jambor via Android Headlines today revealed the key specifications including almost every color courtesy of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, again revealing that it will be the first smartphone lineup with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset in all countries.

Starting with the color contest, The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ have four base colors, including Iceblue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow. Plus, the S25 Ultra comes in four different color variants including Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Silver Blue, and Titanium White Silver. However, it is unclear if these are the names Samsung will officially use when the phones go on sale.
Apart from these, the company will also sell each model in online-exclusive colors. However, these colors will only be available on the company’s official website, so there is little chance of them arriving before the official launch. Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+
The Standard Galaxy S25 will measure 146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2mm and weighs 162 grams. Galaxy S25+ will have a dimension of 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm and weighs 190 grams. The Galax S25 will equip a display 6.2-inch while its sibling S25+ has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. That panel will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and afullHD+ (2340 x 1080) and a 3120 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution, respectively.
The standard Galaxy S25 model will have a tripe-camera system at the back with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto unit with OIS and 3x optical zoom. It supports digital zoom and a 12MP (f/2.2 aperture lens) selfie sensor on the front.
The Galaxy S25+ also will sport a triple-cam setup on the rear side with a 50MP primary shooter, a 10MP telephoto camera with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide-angle snapper. It supports a 12MP (f/2.2 aperture lens) front selfie lens.
The Korean OEM has used the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in both the Galaxy S25 and S25+. Both phones will be available in 12GB of RAM and will be available in three and two storage flavors respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a dimension of 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm and weighs 218 grams. The phone will equip a display of a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with WQHD (3120 x 1440) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which will be flat.
Talking about the camera, the Ultra has a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 200MP primary shooter, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, 5x optical zoom, a 10MP telephoto camera with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide-angle snapper. On the front, there will be a 12-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.2 aperture lens).
Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones will support a 5000mAh battery and 45W super-fast wired charging as well as Wireless charging, but we don’t have the details regarding that at the moment.
Galaxy S25 Ultra will equip the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is available in three memory variants in Europe at least as far as the European market is concerned:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
- 12GB RAM + 512GB storage
- 12GB RAM + 1TB storage
All the Galaxy S25 series will come with a dual SIM setup, and eSIM support too, while Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 will also be supported. All three models will be pre-installed with One UI 7 (Android 15).
All these device variants are currently in the pre-reservation phase on the Samsung website. Meanwhile, the company will officially launch them at Galaxy Unpacked on January 22.

In short, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will likely retain its price in Europe compared to the 2024 model, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 should be cheaper than the Flip 6 at launch.

Samsung has reportedly started developing One UI 8 for the Galaxy A56 smartphone. The company has already released an Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta for Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Just recently, a new build for the Galaxy A56 smartphone has surfaced, indicating that Samsung is internally working on One UI 8. The build, identified as A566BXXU4BYF7, has been spotted via a reliable tipster, @tarunvats33. Testing is underway for the European variant as PLS is Poland’s CSC code.

According to Alfaturk, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and Z Fold 5 smartphones have appeared with One UI 8 and Android 16. The Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy Z Fold 5 have achieved single-core scores of 1466 and 1995 and multi-core scores of 3000 and 5055, respectively. On the other hand, Samsung is getting ready to release a new beta update for the Galaxy S25 series. Also, the first internal testing build of One UI 8 has been spotted for the Samsung Galaxy S24. This hints that the One UI 8 beta program may soon be available for Galaxy S24 users as well.
