Qualcomm has hinted that the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will be introduced with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset at the Unpacked 2025 event on January 22. The chips were previously rumored and the chip maker has now confirmed that it is indeed the next flagship lineup to use Snapdragon chips.

Samsung is gearing up to launch its Galaxy S25 series at its first Galaxy Unpacked 2025  event in San Jose, California, USA on January 22, 2025. Now, Qualcomm has confirmed that Samsung will bring its most advanced Snapdragon ever to its Galaxy AI-powered smartphones, the Galaxy S25 series.

Yesterday, Samsung posted about the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on X and said “💙 like this post to witness the next evolution of #GalaxyAI”. Meanwhile, Qualcomm’s @Snapdragon account on the social media platform reposted that tweet saying “See you there.” It confirms that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series will use Snapdragon chipsets.

Although there is still no confirmation on which Snapdragon chipset the Galaxy S25 series will use. However, Samsung has two options the Snapdragon 8 Elite or its ‘For Galaxy’ version.

Notably, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is also designed with Generative AI in mind to enable immersive and personalized AI experiences.

The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will reportedly have 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.8-inch Super AMOLED displays respectively, and will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Android 15-based One UI 7 software.

With Samsung set to reveal more details soon, fans and tech enthusiasts are eagerly watching the countdown to the official announcement to confirm these speculations and see what the new generation of Galaxy devices has to offer.

According to the leaker, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 24MP default and portrait mode. It may also feature Adaptive Pixel, which reduces noise by combining multiple low-resolution photos into one high-resolution image.

Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra Optical has a focus speed slider for portrait and video modes. Camera assistance mode – allows turning off HDR10+ and using regular HDR.
