US Galaxy Z Flip 5, Fold 5 get January 2025 security update
Samsung is enhancing the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 security segments with the January 2025 update. The company is rolling out the latest software update in batches. It will take some days to approach all the eligible smartphone users in this market.
The update mainly brings the January 2025 security patch that eliminates 30 CVEs major privacy exploits and 22 Samsung-specific vulnerabilities. Thus, installing the new update on your device will unlock an efficient and bug-free experience.
We suggest all Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 device users keep their phones up-to-date with security patches. These standard rollouts often work as a baseline build for a major upgrade. The One UI 7 version is ready to enter the Galaxy world with interesting features.
Coming back, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are now receiving the January 2025 update. The update is available for Verizon-locked models in the US and the company will expand it soon.

Galaxy Z Flip 7, Flip 7 FE and Z Fold 6, Flip 6 receiving February 2026 security update
Samsung has released the February 2026 security update for four more Galaxy devices – the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. This update keeps your phone secure and running smoothly instead of adding new features or changing its look.

To manually download the update, go to Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install. Once the download is complete, tap Restart/Install Now to complete the installation. Make sure your phone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and has enough battery.
In addition to the security update, Samsung is also working on One UI 8.5. The beta version is currently available for the Galaxy S25 series in some regions, and Samsung has confirmed that the stable version will launch with the Galaxy S26 series tomorrow. Stay tuned for more details.

Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablet users install January 2026 security update
Samsung’s latest Fan Edition tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, are happy as they receive the latest January 2026 security update. Notably, the firmware contains the newest safety improvements that will improve the tablet’s current health for a reliable experience.
According to the inputs, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series tablet with model numbers SM-X520, SM-X526N, SM-X620, and SM-X626N is receiving the latest patch via the One UI versions X520XXS6BZA3, X526NKOS6BZA4, X620XXS6BZA3, and X626NKOS6BZA3, and a software package of 500MB.
