One UI 7 beta 6 update is now out for the Galaxy S24
It’s only been a week and a half since the One UI 7 beta 5 update for the Galaxy S24 series went live, and now, Samsung is rolling out a new one. The One UI 7 beta 6 appears to be live for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The version number of the One UI 7 beta 6 for Galaxy S24 update ends in ZYCE and weighs around 1257.78MB. The official changelog is pretty small and only mentions a few new features, improved touch stability, better overall software stability, and “many other improvements” that remain a mystery.
The sixth One UI 7 beta update is available for the Galaxy S24 lineup in India, Korea, Germany, and the US. It is possible that other markets where the beta program is open may receive the One UI 7 beta 6 build, but users have confirmed availability for the countries mentioned above so far.
Although the Galaxy S24 series will likely be the first devices to get the stable version of One UI 7, many other Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets are eligible for the update, and some will get it before the end of the year. Those who have already been invited to the beta program are the top contenders.
One UI 7 beta 6 is rolling out for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, bringing at least 6 new S25 features, some bug fixes, functional improvements, as well as the April 2025 security patch to ensure a better user experience.

Galaxy S24, Fold6, and Z Flip6 are getting the August 2025 security update
Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 users are receiving the new August 2025 update, which includes certain security improvements. The company has added useful security system changes in this firmware. These Galaxy device owners will also find bug fixes in the latest rollout.
On the other hand, Samsung has recently confirmed to release the One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Fold 6, and Galaxy S24 series in August 11, and the company will also extend the beta update till September 2025. This means more Galaxy device users will soon be able to try out the One UI 8 features before the release.
The tech giant is releasing the August 2025 patch for Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 Korean units. It upgrades the security patch level to the current month.
One good aspect of this update is that it will keep your device’s system and data safe from privacy violations and harmful malware. It further enhances the phone’s ability to fight vulnerabilities that can spoil the overall user experience.
However, the bad part is that the device is still running on the One UI 7 version. The company hasn’t upgraded the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 phones to the One UI 8 software build. We anticipate hearing about the new rollout for the flagship device soon.
According to the changelog, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 users can identify the new August 2025 update with the One UI version ending BYGB. One has to download a software package of 405.23 MB to install the latest security improvements to the handset.
