One UI 7 offers smart features to Samsung Galaxy smartphone and tablet users. Whether we talk about brand new visual identity or productivity to several new features, including Galaxy AI features that utilize the power of AI to make life easier for users. But one of these features that have been at the top of the “users’ favorite” list seems to be the One UI 7 Galaxy AI advanced writing assist tools.
With One UI 7, Samsung Galaxy AI offers advanced writing assist tools such as summarizing content, check spelling and grammar, writing composers, and automatically format notes into bullet points. By using this feature, users can increase their productivity, as the text can be accessed wherever it is selected, without having to switch between applications.
It is worth noting that this feature is part of the advanced Galaxy AI capabilities that are currently available on the Galaxy S24 series with One UI 7 beta.
How the One UI 7 Galaxy AI Advanced Writing Assist Tool Works
Galaxy devices running One UI 7, when you open a web page and select a part of the text on the screen a pop-up in the editing menu includes the Galaxy AI icon at the left side of the menu. Once you top on the Galaxy AI icon, you will see the five options including.
- Spelling and grammar
- Writing style
- Summarize
- Bullet point
- Composer

Let us know them one by one
- Spelling and grammar will offers suggestions for writing style, grammar, and spelling.
- Writing style will rewrite the selected text in diffrent tones.
- Summarize, as the name suggests that expresses the most important facts or ideas about large content such as entire page.
- Bullet points can reduce a long read paraggraph into small bullet points.
- Composer feature will generate content that best fit the kwywords and ideas you select text.
Another Galaxy AI feature includes Call Transcripts, which help users automatically transcribe recorded calls in up to 20 different languages.

Samsung Galaxy S23 may receive One UI 7 next week

So far, Samsung has delivered the One UI 7 firmware update to a few flagship Galaxy devices. However, network carriers in Canada now revealed the One UI 7/Android 15 update release date for the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones.
Samsung One UI 7 is based on the Android 15 operating system, which brings notable changes to the usability and software appearance of the device. Samsung’s custom Android skin brings many new and useful features to your Galaxy as well as significant changes to the user interface.
According to Telus’ support page, the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will roll out to the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in Canada on or before April 22, 2025. As always, the new software will also feature a new security patch for improved device reliability.

How to update:
Samsung consumers can manually check for new software updates with a few easy steps. First, go to the “System Settings” of your Galaxy device, once done, scroll down and tap on the “Software Update” tab, followed by the “Download and Install” button.

Samsung Galaxy A55 gets Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta 2 update

Samsung has recently started releasing the stable version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 smartphone after testing 5 beta updates. Now, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy A55 smartphone.
Based on Android 15, the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone comes with One UI build number A556EXXU7ZYD3 and is currently available only in Korea. Users will have to download a 336.14 GB package to install the update.
This update fixes various bugs and issues reported in the previous beta version. Apart from this, the changelog mentions that this update fixes the issue of poor visibility when checking the Now bar Google Sports.
Also, it fixes an issue that could not be added to MMS emoticons on a particular route. It resolves the top notification icon to be SIM shape when receiving eSIM push notifications
Furthermore, the update brings the April 2024 security update to improve system security and stability. If you are testing One UI 7 beta on your Galaxy A55 smartphone, install the update to enjoy error-free and enhanced functions.

Samsung publishes stable One UI 7 release timeline; here are all the devices getting it

Samsung announced One UI 7, based on Android 15, on April 07 in Korea. The company said a stable One UI 7 version timeline would start rolling out to the Galaxy S24 series on April 14 in Vietnam. In the meantime, it’s published a comprehensive list of devices getting the stable and when each is expected to receive it. So, let’s dive in.
As it turns out, the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Galaxy Z Flip5 are going to receive One UI 7 stable version on April 14 as well. Then, on April 23, the stable update will spread to the Galaxy S24 FE, followed by the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S21 series (including Galaxy S21 FE), Galaxy Z Fold4, and Galaxy Z Flip4 on April 24.
On April 28, it will be the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold3, and Galaxy Z Flip3 getting it, while in March, it will finally make it to the Galaxy A and M series.
